On Teaching (Artistic) Autoethnography in Germany
Presentation for the 2025 International Symposium on Autoethnography and Narrative
In this presentation, I begin by discussing the making of my book, An Artistic Autoethnography on the Public Fetus: Feminist Perspectives. This book is based on work related to my PhD thesis in Art, which was completed at Goldsmiths, University of London. After describing the process of making my book, I move on to talk about how my story continued by teaching art students about autoethnography. I had the opportunity to give a seminar on autoethnography as part of my postdoc project, Storying Artistic Research Using Methods of Autoethnography.
